Hi everyone
Never been to Atlantic City before but to Vegas many times. We are looking for recommendations for a really plush hotel, nice pool area centrally located. Also does anyone know which Casino%26#39;s have the Wheel of Fortune Machines - it was out favourite in Vegas in August?
Will 4 days be enough in Atlantic City?
Kind regards
Bernie

Hotel Help and Wheel of Fortune?
All the casinos have some type of Wheel of Fortune slots. 4 days is definitely enough in AC. As far as plush, the nicest and newest hotel is definitely Borgata, but it is also the most expensive. It is located in the Marina area so you can not walk to any other casinos. Jitney, taxi or drive to the boardwalk area. All the hotel/casinos have indoor pools open year round. Ballys and Borgata are very nice along with their spas.
Are you talking about the new WOF machines, the giant multi player ones that they have in Vegas? I haven%26#39;t seen any in AC yet.
Borgata is widely known as the nicest (I%26#39;ve never stayed there), but is not centrally located at all. I would suggest Ballys (ask for Tower room) or Caesars (Centurion Tower room). They are both in the middle of the boardwalk.
I played The WOF where everyone sits around the giant wheel at resorts last month. It%26#39;s a nickle one.
The following is from my trip report in August:
'; I than walked over to Resorts after dinner to check out the new Wheel of Fortune Special Edition slots. It is a giant wheel with the slots situated around it and when you get the 3 symbols you get to spin the giant wheel to hit the multipliers all the way up to 1000 times your line bet. I had no luck on it but while i was playing someone did hit the 1000 times and a few other people hit some other big multipliers '; .
CHEERS !!!!
I didn%26#39;t realize that was the same one. The ones I played in Vegas were 40 line penny slots. But if you wanted to also play for ';the wheel'; you had to play 80 credits (40 lines plues 40 credits for the wheel). I won about $40 on the one at the Imperial Palace, but didn%26#39;t do so well on any of the other ones.
They have the giant wheel of fortune at the Taj Mahal. It%26#39;s a nickle denomination.
They also have tons of the traditional wheel of fortune slots in several denominations.
They have a pretty nice Olympic size pool. However it is near one end of the Boardwalk, but connected by a walkway to Resorts and the Showboat.
Not all the A.C. casinos have indoor pools. I stayed at Caesars which has only a small seasonal outdoor pool. Although they have a decent sauna and spa area, the Caesar%26#39;s swimming pool is one of the worse I%26#39;ve seen! The water was so cloudy that you couldn%26#39;t see the Caesars logo at the bottom! And also the sides were lined with debris and algae. If this room wasn%26#39;t comped I would%26#39;ve asked for my money back.
Most all the Casinos have the WOFand most have the giant ones(they are really very noisy).
