Hey, I just posted a review about our wonderful stay at the Atlantis Inn Luxury Bed and Breakfast and was doing a search on tripadvisor and was surprised to see how much this place gets talked about, and raved about on the web! I will say that I read it all, and its’ all true. We spent a week there on summer vacation, and could not have been more satisfied with our vacation, and the luxurious accomodations offered at this Inn.
It really is a spectacular! One of the most beautiful Inns in the country…and we are coming back in October.
In the meantime, I noticed several forum topics on Atlantis Inn restaurants they recommend and wanted to jump in. Unfortunately I deleted my email with the list but I can tell you where we went.
As I remember it, the list was categorized into 3 categories: places in OC, Fine %26amp; Casual Dining %26amp; Atlantic City Restaurants %26amp; Entertainment.
The list offered some specific places to dine in OC, other than the boardwalk. The two places we went to was the 4th street café which was awesome. We had lunch there three times in the early afternoons, and also came back for dinner one night. The only down side was that they don%26#39;t have A/C, but the quality of food was well worth it. We also tried Rojo Tacos on 6th %26amp; Ocean which was also quite good for a casual Mexican place.
For fine dining, we ate at Savaradio’s, Café 2825, Sails, Tuckers Steak %26amp; Seafood %26amp; Sofia’s. Of all 5 places, I liked Sails the least. The atmosphere was great, the food was ok, but the service was awful, mainly because it was packed, and in my opinion understaffed with poorly trained summer help. We gave our feedback to the innkeepers at the Atlantis Inn.
Savardio’s was spectacular. Love it! Food and atmosphere was fabulous. We were very pleased. Overall, probably my two favorites was Savardio’s %26amp; Café 2825.. Will definitely go back to both.
Café 2825 was the perfect small little romantic cozy Italian Restaurant with just really GREAT FOOD!
The food at Tucker’s was also very good and they sat us in the “Bay Room” because we identified ourselves as “guests of the Atlantis Inn”. One thing I will say is that we seemed to get really great “out of the ordinary” special treatment in all the restaurants when they knew we were staying at the Atlantis Inn. It was quite flattering.
We also tried Sofia’s one night. I love Greek food so I really enjoyed my meal, but my wife wasn’t a big fan. However, the atmosphere at Sofia’s was probably the best all off the picks we chose off the list.
Our final night, we went into AC and ate at Morton%26#39;s Steakhouse, an oldie but a goodie. Had a great time overall, and was impressed by the large quantity of fine dining restauarnts througout the area. The jersey shore has come along way in the past few years! Hope folks find this helpful.

Sounds like the Atlantis Inn has a pretty good ';cherry picked'; list of places to dine!

Thanks for all that great info. Have been asking about the restaurants on the Atlantis Inn list for some time. Did not know about Savardio%26#39;s, but will definitely give it a try. Thanks!
You are welcome. The list is not complete, my post was just a list of places we selected from their recommendations.
And I saw a recent post on their trip site about the breakfast %26amp; the eggs benedict...what is this person talking about??? The breakfast at the Atlantis Inn was awesome!!!! We were there for a week, and the breakfast was the highlight of the day...absolutely delicious and full of variety. Everything you would want, and then some! The quiches were by far the best...they had a Tuscan Quiche with portabella %26amp; Sundried tomatoes %26amp; a Belgian one with goat cheese %26amp; caramelized onions. Mmmmmmm...my mouth still waters thinking about it!
Sounds to me like those of us with houses in OC might need to stay at the Atlantis just to experience all it has to offer...and to get all their information!
We ate at Steve and Cookies last night (also on the Atlantis Inn list), and the food was spectacular!!!!
I had eaten there once a few years ago, and forgot how good this restaurant is. Definitely Top 5 in the area!!!
Savaradio%26#39;s is most definetly the best quality restaurant in the area.
They also have a Sushi Bar...so much better than Tomatos AND the quality of he sushi was top shelf!!!
Yes indeed, we LOVE Savaradios!!!
Their infusion style menu is delicious!!!!
A lot of these comments would be even more helpful if you shared locations with us.
Thanks!
Frank,
Here is the info for Savaradio%26#39;s. Received a gift certificate and am looking forward to trying this restaurant at the end of the month.
