Hotel recommendations - safe and clean

Hi,

My friend and I are looking for a hotel room for just one night. We%26#39;ll be in town, sadly, for a funeral, so we don%26#39;t need to be in the center of all the action. We%26#39;ll be arriving late, as well.

Looking for a place that%26#39;s reliably safe and clean - relatively cheap is a plus, too, since it%26#39;s just for one night. Any thoughts?

Hi,

I don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;re looking for a weeknight or a weekend. Weekends are limited. If you don%26#39;t want to be in the middle of all the action, why don%26#39;t you try the Sheraton? It%26#39;s a few blocks up from the Boardwalk, near the shopping outlets and the train station. Sorry to hear of your loss.

If it%26#39;s a weeknight, call around to the casinos, or check their websites. You can sometimes do very well, especially last minute. I%26#39;ve found that Harrahs and Tropicana usually have good rates (and are both nice places to stay). You really don%26#39;t want to be at a dive, even for 1 night. You%26#39;ll want to be on the boardwalk or the marina if you%26#39;re staying in AC.

Check out the choice hotels website for rooms just outside AC . The Hampton Inn and Quality Inn are good .
