Virginia City Buffet does not take reservations. It does post the next seating time on a marquee. If you are a Harrahs Diamond Total Rewards card holder, you have preferred line access which usually doesn%26#39;t take long to get a table. If not diamond, the buffet will be very crowded all day and nite on a weekend. Be prepared to wait.

The VC Buffet will give you a specific hour thet you have to get on line . Sometimes getting on line 10 minutes early or 10 minutes before the next seating helps a bit . Going at the end of lunch ( less expensive-same buffet minus the steak , London Broil instead .) is less crowded around 3:30 pm. Or try going after 8PM .
We thought the steak was very un-buffet and not sure we%26#39;d get it next time we went. Seems like with all the available sides that%26#39;s a dinner all by itself!
