I could be in AC right now but....

(sorry I just need to vent)

Last week two of my friends from NJ and myself (from outside Philly) planned to meet in AC today. Then one of them said he ';had something else to do'; and would rather go in 2 weeks. Then last night he changed his mind via email, but then texted my cell saying that he%26#39;d still rather go in 2 weeks but that the final decision was totally up to me.

Now, I%26#39;ve never been good at taking hints but even I could figure this one out!

Does anyone else have a friend that%26#39;ll go to AC unless something %26#39;better%26#39; comes along?

Go by yourself . You%26#39;ll have a beter time than worring about why someone else wasn%26#39;t enthusistic over going .

Your friend lives so close to AC , it takes us about 11 hours to drive there , thats with a few 20 minute stops and i try to get to AC whenever possible. I would say go alone and have a great time and leave the DRAG at home LOL.

In my opinion theres nothing better than spending time in AC %26amp; having a good time. Food, Drink, Gaming, Can%26#39;t beat that.

jmp.... Maybe ask someone else next time who%26#39;s less likely to flake out on you? Or this friend you%26#39;re talking about is your only one who likes AC, tell him that you want to know FOR SURE ahead of time if he is going, and not to put the decision-making solely on your shoulders.

BTW: Maybe I shouldn%26#39;t say this because I%26#39;m not married, but I don%26#39;t really see what difference it makes if you%26#39;re married or not that you have to go with someone. Surely your wife would understand your need to get away, regardless of whether or not you have someone accompanying you. As far as your friend ';keeping you in line';, so to speak.... well one can find/make trouble regardless of whether or not he%26#39;s by himself! lol

Your wife would understand, I would think, that this weekend would have been one of your last chances to get away before becoming a proud papa. %26lt;grin%26gt;
