I%26#39;m bringing my wife to Cape May for the weekend. I grew up spending summers at CM but haven%26#39;t been back since I was 17(I%26#39;m 32 now). I see that it may rain this weekend with the tropical storm coming north. What is there to do if it%26#39;s raining the majority of the weekend? Any ideas? Thanks.
Coming this weekend
How about going to Atlantic City for some gambling?
It is supposed to be very rainy and windy on Saturday. Could curl up in bed with a couple of good books you%26#39;ve both been meaning to read.
Coming this weekend
ok, it is going to ran, no sense fooling ourselves. My suggestions are try the Nature Center in Cape May or the Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor. Take a trolly ride/tour on an enclosed trolley that goes through the Historic area. Try a wine tasting at the Cape May Winery in Townbank. (4 miles from Cape May). Maybe a nice lunch at Henry%26#39;s located on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean. Climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse or run between the raindrops down at sunset beach where the sunken ship is. How about a relaxing session at the Cape May Day Spa? Like the previous poster suggested, a good book and an afternoon nap. There are 2 movie theatres not too far away, so maybe a good movie after a nice dinner. Try the Merion Inn, Tisha%26#39;s, Union Park, Pilot House or Lucky Bones. Whatever you do, be safe, relax and enjoy.
Highly recommend going to Cape May Stage to see ';The Price';, written by Arthur Miller. Robert Prosky plays the part of the antique dealer, while his sons, Andrew %26amp; John Prosky play the estranged brothers who are trying to settle their father%26#39;s estate. The acting, drama, stage set, everything, was great ! Both thought provoking and entertaining; don%26#39;t miss it!
