I麓m going to stay in a NEwarl Airport hotel whats the best way to travel to NYC ?

Do you know is the weekly pass can be used for riding the PATH.

What would be the cheapest way to get to NYC.

Train Travel from Newark to NYC

Staying near Newark Airport is not very convenient to visiting NYC.

You will need to get from your hotel back to the airport.

At the airport, you have the option of taking NJ Transit train (www.njtransit.com) or CoachUSA bus (www.coachusa.com) to NYC.

Those are your most direct ways (~$14 one-way).

If you really want to save money but take longer time to get to NYC,

you can take #62 NJ Transit bus from the airport to Newark Penn Station ($2) and then take the PATH (www.pathrail.com) ($2).

The weekly MTA pass will NOT work on any of the NJ trains or buses or anything else that you will be using in NJ.
