$5.00 Tables

Hi again...you all helped so much with my last question so here goes with another. Any $5.00 tables on a sunday night or monday?

we lived in phoenix for awhile and went to vegas quite often. I really miss those $3.00 tables on Freemont Street. I adore blackjack, but hate parting with so much of my hard earned cash on one bet. I%26#39;m so cheap :) :)

also, got a room at resorts in the Rendezvous Tower. anyone have any thoughts on it?

thanks so much

$5.00 Tables

suzanne - You will probably find a limited number of $5 tables at Resorts starting very late Sunday night through Monday afternoon. During the day on Sunday they will probably be at least $10 for 3-card poker and Let it Ride, and $15 and up for BJ. I don%26#39;t play craps but I think you will find $10 tables there most any time.

I saw a billboard on my last trip down there from the Tropicana - it said something about $5 tables all day, every day. They are probably jammed though. You might have better luck at one of the smaller casinos - Claridge or Sands.

Have fun!

PS: I love those quirky card games you can only find at Freemont Street. Wish they%26#39;d bring some of them to AC!

$5.00 Tables

soochr.... The two best places for $5 blackjack are Sands and Borgata, based on my own recent experience and information posted on here by others. Borgata always has had at least one $5 table, but apparently they now offer more due to their expanded table games section. Borgata is not on the Boardwalk, so I don%26#39;t know if location is an issue for you?

Sands is very inconsistent when it comes to $5 tables; I%26#39;ve now seen them there on Friday nights, and thought ';here at last!';. Then I%26#39;ve gone on Monday morning -';a slow time';- and been lucky to find a $10 table.

The only time I saw Tropicana with $5 tables was on a Friday night. They had 2 tables with this, and they were lined up several people deep.

This is just my own personal theory, but here goes: any time a place advertises on a billboard that they have $5 blackjack --especially in AC-- I%26#39;m convinced that the casino only offers a couple of tables at that level just to get people in the door. When prospective players realize that they will never actually get a seat at a $5 table, rather than go elsewhere in search of one, they%26#39;ll usually take the path of least resistance and just play at a $10 table.

Anyway, soochr, enjoy your stay at Resorts! %26lt;grin%26gt;

Borgata has 5 dollar CRAPS during the week at various times.
