CAFE 2825: Best Italian Food, recommended by Atlantis Inn

We just got back from a trip to Ocean City and decided to stay at the Atlantis Inn again…what a spectacular place!!! Anyhow, the Inn emails you a restaurant recommendation list with your confirmation. I had noticed that it had changed considerably since our last visit,, and they had placed a restaurant called CAFÉ 2825 as a 2nd choice in their Fine Dining Section. Well, we were so outrageously impressed with this fine dining establishment, that I was compelled to go on the forum to tell every Ocean City and Atlantic City goer about it.

CAFE 2825 is an authentic Northern Italian Restaurant located on 2825 Atlantic Ave in Atlantic City, and this is by far the very best Italian food I have enjoyed since our last visit to Italy!!!! FINALLY!!!!! A wonderful culinary experience in South Jersey. Anyone who hasn’t been….YOU MUST GO!!! They have their fresh fish flown in directly for the Mediterranean every 24 hours. The food is impeccably delicious, and simply one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever experienced.

This is the GEM of restaurants in South Jersey, and THANK YOU to the Innkeepers of the Atlantis Luxury Inn for the recommendation and the fine culinary experience!!

Everyone: You have got to try this place out!!! You will never eat Italian food elsewhere again.

Wow...that sounds wonderful...my wife and I will defiantly put it on our ';need to try'; list when we are down in OC in a couple of weeks. Would be interested in knowing what else is on the Atlantis%26#39; restaurant recommendation list.

We have been to Cafe 2825 several times, and the food really is exceptional. Very authentic Italian, all made from scratch.

I would have to agree with Laspada...Cafe 2825 is the best quality restaurant in our area. Rivals any ';good'; NYC restaurant.

If you like ';real'; Italian food, this is the #1 choice in the Ocean City and Atlantic City area!!!

This authentic Italian restaurant is designed in the traditional European flare...it%26#39;s no wonder that it falls into the Atlantis%26#39;s recommendation list as the Atlantis is a very elegant European themed place.

We had an amazing experience at Café 2825. They open up the entire front of restaurant, café style, just like in Italy. All the food is made from scratch, and yes the Branzini fish was to die for...all their Mediterranean fishes are flown in. The owner’s name is Joe, who is originally from New York City. He gave us a lesson in Italian wines an d wine pairing when we were there.

For those of you who love really enjoy top quality fine Italian food, Cafe 2825 will become a ';traditional favorite'; with every visit to the Jersey Shore!

has anyone been to any of the new restaurants in Caesar%26#39;s or the Pier? Have they all opened yet?

We tried MIA at Caesar%26#39;s when it first opened. Not impressed, but I have heard great things since. Am willing to give it a 2nd try, but I am skeptical. It%26#39;s no Le Bec Fin, that%26#39;s for sure!

Has anyone been to the shops at the Pier? Anything good?

I love this place! The Italian food is just like ';ma used to make';...just fablous. Puts Chef Vola to shame, plus they have a pretty good wine list. The gnocchi was to die for.

Haven%26#39;t been to the Pier yet but heard that none of the restaurants are opne yet. Any insight on the Pier?

My wife and I visited the Cafe, on Labor Day and the day after. Both times, closed. No sign, nothing. Our loss.

They are closed Sundays and Mondays. Maybe they took an extra day due to the holiday, but you would think they would put up a sign.
