Work Report 9/7 - 9/10

Went to AC to work the boat show at the Marina. I will not report on the work, just the fun. The weather was great all 4 days. Sun every day and not a drop of rain.

9/7 checked into the Marina and had two rooms (free) for the night. For the life of me I could NOT give one away!! Went to Bally%26#39;s and ate at the Diamond club. It was OK as usual, nothing great. Went to Harrahs to watch the game and play some cards. I lost $60 on video poker watching the game and won $400 on three card. Came back to the Marina and played BJ and Three card til 3am and lost about $200 of my $400.

9/8 checked out of the Marina, worked and checked into the Sheraton. My wife came down and hung on the beach all day in Brigantine. Went to Dock%26#39;s for dinner. I had the Pan Seared tuna tIat was GREAT. My wife had the Fillet and she LOVED hers also. We walked to the Wild West and the wife won $450 of 3 card and I did not play!

9/9 Worked then went to Steak 38 for another good meal I had the NY Strip and the wife had another steak. Not as good as Docks, but we had a great time. HINT. If you are @ the Marina/Harrahs area you can call the Brigantine cab co and it%26#39;s a FREE ride to Steak 38. You have to pay to get back!. Went to Ballys and lost about $500 on BJ and called it a night.

9/9 Got up and worked the show then went home

It%26#39;s hard to go to AC and work, but it%26#39;s also great to be in AC.

Work Report 9/7 - 9/10

sid... Look on the bright side: after work, you are already in the right place to unwind and have a good time! No need to drive to the City, as you are already there.

Sounds like you%26#39;ve ate at Dock%26#39;s more than once.... and with good reason, from the sounds of it. I need to date someone for one night so I have a reason to try the place! lol Hard to pick up a phone and say ';reservation for one'; with a straight face....

Bet you were happy with that game on Sunday; I%26#39;m sure T.O was thrilled about it, too! LOL You and I both were not shedding any tears, I%26#39;m sure, about the Cowboys taking it on the chin, either..... %26lt;grin%26gt;

You bet!!! Love to see those COW -GIRLS go down. My second favorite team is who ever is playing Dallas.

I%26#39;ve gone to DOC%26#39;S meny times by myself. Never had a problem and it%26#39;s is worth it. It%26#39;s nice to eat at a place with the history of this one and getting away from the casinos is a good thing at times.

Tell us more about Docks and Steak 38??

It just makes work all that better deosn%26#39;t it.

CHEERS !!!!!!

Doc%26#39;s is a small joint on Atlantic that has been is business for over 100 years!! The service is great, and the seafood selection is second to none. They have a raw bar and a assorited verity of seafood. They have 3 or 4 cuts of steak and my wife (who is a meat eater) thinks they are some of the best cuts she has ever eaten! They have a piano player who plays nice back-ground music while you dine.

Steak 38 is a newer and larger place in Brigantine. It has good steaks and seafood. The Ceasar saled is GREAT! It%26#39;s a fun place too and although busy, during the off-season, you can usually get a table on short notice. It has some lounge type of live music after 9. Some people dance and have a good time after dinner.

They both make good drinks as I am a Manhatten drinker and I am very crititcal about my drinks!!

Let me add that Steak 38 has great early bird specials . You can save 6 or 7 dollar a person . Also the lounge gets very crowded with mostly couples on Fri and Sat. nts. An appitizer of warm bread and warm marinated peppers is complimentary and very tasty !
