Caesar's and Diamond Club

We checked into Caesar%26#39;s Saturday afternoon, and were assigned a room in the dreaded Temple Tower. It was actually pretty nice, I%26#39;m not sure what all the complaints are about. The location was great, and in the middle of the night with several drinks in us that room looked like a palace! Yes the bathroom was tiny, but my bigger complaint is that the walls are so thin you could hear the guys in the next room chatting, snoring, and using the bathroom.

We also checked out the new Diamond Club - it%26#39;s huge but did not have a great food selection. There was enough to make a meal of: a fish dish, some salads, wraps and a carving station with really good turkey. The service inside was excellent and we enjoyed a nice frozen cocktail in lieu of dessert. They didn%26#39;t reopen until noon on Sunday, so we headed over to Borgata. Unfortunately, their VIP club has still not reopened and nobody seemed to know when it would. We didn%26#39;t win any money at either casino, but it wasn%26#39;t for lack of trying! I%26#39;ll be back down in two weeks to see Jerry Seinfeld, so maybe I can get some of my money back while I%26#39;m down there.

Cheers,

LB,

Glad to hear about the service...glad that Caesars may have their act together better than Ballys next door! Sorry about the walls..guess that%26#39;s why it%26#39;s dreaded!

Caesar's and Diamond Club

LuvB... I can%26#39;t believe that Borgata --the supposed class of AC-- can%26#39;t figure out when their own VIP Club is going to reopen! That is just dumb...

I went with Terminator for a snack in the high roller lounge last month at Tropicana, but I couldn%26#39;t figure out why they don%26#39;t reopen until late morning. If they really want to take care of the big spenders, I would think they%26#39;d stay open 24 hours. Maybe that%26#39;s just me, but why make your big spenders *wait*, you know what I mean?

Anyway... I am glad you and Mr. LuvB enjoyed yourselves. I am sure that Jerry will have you in stitches next month.

BTW: I%26#39;ve not stayed in Caesars ever, but I%26#39;m glad that there is an alternative opinion of the Temple Tower rooms. I mean, it%26#39;s *Caesars* for crying out loud; how terrible could a room there be? As long as it%26#39;s clean and comfortable....

Hello,

I was told by my Borgata host that the new lounge was to open in September. Well, they have 5 days to go. I haven%26#39;t been down there since the end of August so I haven%26#39;t had occasion to ask. I am scheduled to go down 10/20-21. I hope it%26#39;s open by then!

I have never stayed at Caesars. Thanks for the info on the rooms.

Cheers!
