Cape May Visit in October

We%26#39;ve confirmed our reservations for a Cape May rental home in October. We%26#39;ll be coming to Cape May on Saturday, October 7th, and staying for six days.

Since October 9th is the Columbus Day holiday we%26#39;re wondering if there are any special scheduled activities for that weekend. We will be bringing Brodie and Anika, our cairn terrier and keeshond, with us. I already have lots of information on dog-related activities in a variety of locations in or near Cape May.
