Hotel reservations - probably a stupid question!

If I book a hotel room on the morning that I am planning to stay, will I receive a discounted rate? I am going next week so I consider it being ';down season'; and am not worried about waiting last minute if it will benefit me.

Thanks you.

I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll find much difference in rates, booking a week ahead or a day ahead. What I do is I double check what is the cancellation policy, then check back to see if the rates go down. Any hotel will adjust your rate, as long as you%26#39;re still within the cancellation deadline. Re: AC, check out each individual casino%26#39;s website for promotions or packages. I know that Trop often has good last minute deals (but I wouldn%26#39;t wait for the last minute because sometimes the deals do disappear). Are you going on a weekday or the weekend? Definitely will be a difference as far as how good a deal you can get.

Thanks for the information. We are going mid-week.

I would not book the day of unless you live close enough that you can check rates and book that morning before you leave.

Actually I won%26#39;t even book day of then, becuase I still don%26#39;t think you%26#39;re going to get a better rate, and many discounts may be sold out by then.

Definately do not show up there and try to book something. They%26#39;re just going to offer you the ';rack rate'; as they know you have to stay somewhere at that point.
