AC dining

We%26#39;re heading to AC for a fun night with friends for my husband%26#39;s birthday. Any great recommendations for a restaurant with excellent food and good atmosphere as well. There will probably be 8 of us. We had thought of trying the Trop%26#39;s Red Square or Cuba Libre, but have read some not so good reviews. Any comments on those as well would be appreciated. In or out of the casinos for a good place. Thanks.

Carmines would be a good choice and than afterwards you have many choices of different places to have a few drinks here and there and only steps away as all the bars are located in the Quarter area at The Trop.

Don%26#39;t let a few reviews keep you away from these Dining / Bar establishments. One has to remember that there are a ton of reasons why people post negative reviews for places.

The best way is if you like the place and really want to try it out, just go for it. The 8 of you can get the party going and create some great reviews for all of us to read afterwards.

I generally don%26#39;t let reviewers deter me, but I had also heard some negative things from friends and heard that it is also tremendously pricey. That still wouldn%26#39;t prevent me from going if the food and service is worthwhile. Thanks for writing. Good advice!

We enjoyed Carmines too and think it%26#39;s a good place to party with friends.

Carmines serves %26#39;family style %26#39; That is 3 to six portions or each selection ( chicken parm , salad, pasta , etc.) Depends on how you feel about that .

Three other spots that are fun are TSOP , Los Amigos , and Steak38 on Brigatine .
