I would take a taxi from JFK to the PATH station at WTC. $45 fixed + tolls + tip = $60

From there the PATH is $1.50.

other choices

1.) Airtrain/subway to WTC

2.) Airtrain/LIRR/subway to WTC

Hello Patriciaspain,

Fly into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) if you can, not JFK. EWR is a lot closer to Jersey City; getting to Jersey City from JFK could be a nightmare. (Long, slow, %26amp; expensive).

Here%26#39;s how to get from EWR to Exchange Place, Jersey City, using public transport. (Mind you, it%26#39;s not the most scenic route, but it%26#39;s relatively easy if you%26#39;re not loaded down with too much luggage %26amp; don%26#39;t mind changing trains several times. Also, Newark Penn Station is not the most salubrious of environments, but it is relatively safe as long as you keep aware of your surroundings %26amp; keep an eye on your luggage etc. The platforms can get a bit chaotic at rush hour):

1. After you clear customs %26amp; collect your luggage at EWR, look for the entrance to the monorail platform. (There%26#39;s a monorail stop at every terminal at EWR). Buy a ticket to Newark Penn Station. Ticket machines are located in the airport terminal, near the bottom of the escalator and/or elevator/lift that takes you up to the platform.

2. Get onto the monorail. This takes you directly to Newark International Airport railway station (about 10 minutes).

3. From the EWR railway station, take a New Jersey Transit (not Amtrak) train to Penn Station, Newark. (The train%26#39;s final destination will be marked as Penn Station, New York; you get off at the first stop, Penn Station, NEWARK. The trip takes all of 6 minutes minutes, so don%26#39;t worry about finding a seat but just stay near the door.)

4. At Newark Penn Station, look for the PATH train platform. (PATH trains are roughly similar to London Underground trains.) Get onto any PATH train (it will be marked ';WTC';--World Trade Center). This will take you directly to Exchange Place. And presto! you%26#39;re there. (The PATH train trip is about 15-20 minutes, as I recall, %26amp; the fare is only $1.50 or $1.75.) Exchange Place PATH station is right outside the Hyatt Regency, which is where I assume you%26#39;re staying.)

Good luck, %26amp; enjoy your visit!
