Has anyone heard of this ?

I cut and pasted this from the Trops%26#39;s website;

'; Choose to receive your payout in ticket vouchers or traditional coin. Take all of your payout or just a portion.';

How would this work say if you had over the taxable win of $1200.00 or more on your machine? Could you cashout $1000.00 and not pay tax and just keep playing ?

From our experience, I would have to say no.

That $1200 = tax level is on one roll of the machine. Win $3000 or more on multiple spins, no problem. Win $1200 or more on one spin and the machine will not pay out via coin or a ticket but will require a hand pay.

I would have to say that this may work on other payouts, but never for one that hits that $1200 rule.

Thx Frank now i get it as i was wondering about that. I wish i could hit $1200.00 lol. So if i was playing and i hit $500.00 etc etc.. and i had $3000.00 in credits, if i hit the cashout button will the ticket come out or will the machine light up and you will have to be hand paid ?

We have gotten hand payouts 3 or 4 times over the years in AC and in Vegas and it all hinges on that one spin win over $1200. Once you do that, play is stopped (even if you still have lots of credits on the machine) and you are asked for ID and when the folks come back with your cash, they also bring you the tax forms.

If you don%26#39;t hit that $1200 on one spin level, then you can cash out at will. A couple of years ago we had a great run on some dollar slots in Harrahs AC and dropped $100 in a $5 slot. We started off slow (1 coin at a time) and hit a couple of times and ran our credits up to about $600. Then we got brave and went to 2 coins and hit some there too. We had a couple of good spins where we won $600-$800. We went up and down and ended by cashing out $1700. We hit the cash out button, out came a ticket and we were able to go to the cashier and get our money. No ID, no tax forms, no nothing because we%26#39;d never hit $1200 or more on one spin.
