Daytrip NYc-Atlantic City Casino bus

Has anybody experience with the casino bus from NYC to AC? Especially Greyhound: How much do I get back arriving at the Casino-Hotel? The whole 31 Dollar? In Cash, in Jetons, in coupons? Or is the offer from Academy bus better?

Thanks for your responses. Greetings from Vienna!

What you get back at the Casino will depend on the day of the week , and which casino you choose . Weekdays usually offer better amounts . You might get as little as $15 cash back as you step off the bus , or as much as a $23 cash coupon that you cash in at the casino booth + a $5 food credit coupon . Offers change from month to month .

Like the previous poster said, the offers vary frm casino to casino and week to week-there%26#39;s a list posted at the Greyhound ticket windown. I%26#39;d avoid Aacademy at all costs, their drivers are mega-cranky and the buses are in terrible shape. Stick with Greyhound,you%26#39;ll be better off.

-disfaninnyc, you are so right about Academy Bus Lines. I just returned

from AC last weekend the temp. was around 75 degrees, and took Academy down. They sent an unairconditioned bus to the terminal to pick up passengers. When the passengers complained the bus driver did not even address the problem. Finally, when we got to Cheesquake the dispatcher came on board and said they were trying to get another bus. Meanwhile there were around 20 people waiting for a bus from Cheesequake. When they finally told us there was another bus waiting, we filed out and got onto a commuter bus with no bathroom. I try not to use the bus bathrooms but the option is there if you need it. The seats were so uncomfortable it was a horrible ride down. The ironic part is that this was not the first time this happened.

It also happened in the Summer months. I think now I%26#39;ve learned my

lesson and will stay away from Academy. I also heard quite a few people saying the same thing.
