Trip Report 9/30-10/1

Went to the Taj this weekend. They also now have the Big WOF for nickels. The seats were always filled and they were the double wide seats not like Resorts which has the single seats. I didnt play it as its too rich for my blood. Played DDB VP had a few decent hits but w/o getting either the aces with the kicker or a Royal (Whats that????) all weekend its hard to leave a winner. We also played a little Blues Brothers pennies. Myhusband played for quite a while on them for $50 but gave everything back. They had customer appreciation day Sat-they had butlers come out 3X-once with champagne, once wih choc covered strawberries and once I couldnt see-LOL! They also gave away money and gifts every hour or so. I never win those things! They offered triple cashback Sunday so Im hoping for a nice amount of cash back. They are also offering it all next weekend but Im not sure we can afford to go. Oh forget to say we had a comped room and food. Had a great time even though we lost. i dont understand the people that put down the Taj. Its clean and light and the cocktail waitresses are pretty darn good. The rooms are clean and in very good shape with comfortable beds etc. As Ive said elsewhere Ive been to the Venetian in Las Vegas and yes its nicer but not that much nicer!

Boops, glad to hear you had a good time. If you can%26#39;t afford to go back-DON%26#39;T!! Find something else fun to do that costs a little bit less-you%26#39;ll be happier with yourself in the long run.

Thanks Boopsahoy.We were in the Taj Fri. eve. and as always had a good time.Won $210 on Lotta Luck penny slot.I guess its the loser who put the Taj down.Like you said its nice and the service is great.We stayed there last month and had a Fine time.

Boops... Count me in as someone who really likes the Taj Mahal, too! I%26#39;ve not stayed in the rooms, but I do like the casino, and I agree the drink service is quite good.

Some people make fun of the Indian color scheme in the casino, but to me it is different, even if it is a bit silly these days. To me, it says ';get rid of the pomp, let your hair down, and have a good time';!

Of the three Trump casinos, the Taj is easily the most fun in my eyes. Now the Trump Plaza, on the other hand... %26lt;shudders%26gt;

Anyway, Boopsahoy, glad you and the hubby has a splendid time in good ole AC! If you can%26#39;t make it next week, don%26#39;t worry; the town%26#39;ll be there when you can get back! I think they%26#39;re done with Government shutdowns for awhile.... well, at least for a year, right? lol
